Chapter 1 - Part 1

More and more of God's people are being raised up to warn as Jeremiah did.

"Therefore, thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them, but they will not answer thee. But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the Lord their God, nor receiveth correction; truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth." (Jer. 7:27-28)

I believe there is a falling away of God's people. Many are falling into delusion due to self indulgence and pride.

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned unto fables." (2 Tim. 4:34)

"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first and that man of sin shall be revealed, the son of perdition." (2 Thess.2:3)

Adultery of the spirit of the Bride of Christ is now on the scene. She is flirting with, and many are marrying, the spirit of the world. The marriage to the "old master" is taking place to lead her to wear the soiled garment of harlotry. She is turning away from the direction of the Bridegroom. The pride and appetites of flesh are rising up to seduce her. The bride wears the black gown of delusion. The lies are given, her ears are being tickled, and she is seduced by the adversary. Her bouquet of life has wilted. The veil is no longer the covering of a God of purity. How did she come to this sad state? "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their bodies between themselves: who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen." (Rom. 1:22-25)

The Lord sees today the "Aholah & Aholibah's" that were once His. (Ezek.23:3637) A grieving God looks upon His Bride, that is turning away from His intimacy. She chooses her idols and adulteries. "They have committed adultery and blood is in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery and have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto Me, to pass for them through the fire, to devour them." (Ezek.23:37)
